Life Before the Mac

I gotta say, since going Mac, I’m never going back… In the last week alone I’ve had the following calls come to me:

  • A friend’s fairly new computer experiences popups galore when his computer boots up… even before he gets on the Internet!
  • An old high school buddy had spyware cripple his computer… and he didn’t have a backup!
  • Another friend bought a new Vista machine and it took forever just to get the thing turned on and loaded for the first time. I wasted like 50 minutes just watching the thing turn on and reboot, turn on and reboot for system updates!!!

For anyone thinking about buying a new computer PLEASE buy a Mac… friends don’t let friends use Windows. I’ve worked with Windows for 13 years, switched to Mac when OS X was released, and have never had to run Antivirus, Antispam, had to perform a system re-install… As they say in the South, “The darn thayngs just work!” … and I can “Git ‘er done” a whole lot faster too!
